Center of Excellence

The Centre of Excellence brings together the people, processes, and technologies necessary to promote collaboration and the use of best practices throughout the Public Service.

The CoE embodies all teams responsible for developing and operating services rendered and will also manage the entire Services Lifecycle of the IFMS. The CoE will act as a service broker and integrator responsible for the design, development, deployment, operations, and continuous improvement of all IFMS related services delivered to Public Service Departments.


  • Ensure architectural integrity and business alignment;
  • Provide a flexible, scalable and secure platform and surrounding ecosystem;
  • Ensure IT agility;
  • Continuously improve security and risk control;
  • Account for, optimize and protect all IFMS assets;
  • Provide transparency on value, costs, and risks of CoE services;
  • Protect, and ensure integrity & availability of IFMS data;
  • Offer business-centric services in support of IFMS;
  • Deliver fast, effective and responsive services;
  • Train and equip business users to utilise IFMS effectively;
  • Acquire, develop and retain skills for responding to IFMS demands;
  • Realise benefits from IT-enabled investments and services portfolio; and
  • Deliver projects providing benefits on time, on budget, and meeting requirements and quality standards.
